The tile itself ranges from $2.50 per square foot for basic ceramic to $22 or more for large-format porcelain or natural stone. A standard Calgary bathroom tile installation including labour and mid-range tile typically runs between $3,500 and $9,000.
Hardwood flooring costs in Calgary
A mid-grade engineered product runs $5 to $9 per square foot. Solid hardwood in a popular species like white oak runs $9 to $15 per square foot or more. Labour for hardwood installation runs $5 to $9 per square foot for standard installs, higher for stair nosing, herringbone patterns or significant subfloor prep.
LVP and laminate costs in Calgary
LVP remains the most cost-efficient floor to install in Calgary. Mid-grade product runs $3.50 to $7 per square foot, and labour typically runs $3.50 to $6 per square foot for a standard floating install. Stairs are the exception, LVP stair installation is more labour-intensive per square foot than any other part of the project.
