Systems we install

We work primarily with Schluter Ditra-Heat and NuHeat / Warmly Yours mats and free-form cables. Ditra-Heat is our go-to under tile because it combines the uncoupling membrane and the heating cable layout into one system — that means fewer build-up issues, faster installs, and no crushed cables under thinset.

For larger spaces and irregular layouts we install loose cable on uncoupling membrane so we can route the heat exactly where you want it: in front of the vanity, around the toilet flange, into the shower niche bench. Mats are perfect for clean rectangular bathrooms and ensuites.

Testing — three times, every time

Every cable gets resistance and continuity tested when it arrives, again after it's secured to the substrate, and one more time after the tile is set. We document the readings. If a cable is going to fail, it almost always fails during install — three tests catch it before your floor is sealed in and a $400 cable becomes a $5,000 re-tile job.

Thermostats and electrical

We work with a licensed electrician partner for the panel-side connection and GFCI thermostat install. Modern thermostats — nSpire Touch, Warmup 4iE, Honeywell Aube — handle scheduling, floor-temperature sensing and Wi-Fi control. We pull the floor sensor through conduit so it can be replaced years later without lifting tile, a detail most installers skip.
